KAMLOOPS — The first day of the International Baseball Tournament came to an end, before the game was over, because of a wet field.

Not because of rain, but the automatic sprinklers, that forced a postponement with the Kamloops Sun Devils and Burnaby Bulldogs tied at 10-10 in the bottom of the 14th inning.

Kamloops and Burnaby will resume play at ten this morning at Norbrock.

In other games earlier in the day Thursday the Seattle Studs opened defence of their KIBT title with a 3-2 win over the Northwest Honkers and the Langley Blaze defeated the Everett Merchants 7-4.
