Man’s body found in Kamloops Lake

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are dealing with a body found in Kamloops Lake Saturday.

At noon Saturday, Tk’emlups RCMP responded to a call about a body found in the water by a boater who discovered the body on the north side of Kamloops Lake. 

The boater called police immediately. Police say the body appeared to have been in the water for quite some time and was in an advanced state of decomposition.

No further information is being released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.

The B.C. Coroner’s Service is also involved in the investigation.
