KAMLOOPS — A long time B-100 radio personality, signed off to retirement today.

After 44 years in the radio business, and 34 years working here at Broadcast Centre, Daniel Earl has hosted his very last afternoon show on B-100. Dan began his broadcasting career with his first job in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, from there he went to Moosejaw, Salmon Arm, Vancouver, and in 1975 he came to work in Kamloops.

“I did midday’s, I did afternoon’s, I did voice tracking when we got into that, I did the morning show for 14 years, and then there was this little documentary called the “The Backstage Connection” which we wrote and produced an hour everyday for 14 years, so at the end of that there were thousands of hours of programming,” says Earl.
