Problematic music festival announces new location

KAMLOOPS — The Electric Love Music Festival is no longer the problem of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District.

Organizers have announced this year’s festival will not take place at the Allie Lake Ranch in the Deadman Valley as originally planned.

In a social media post, organizers announced the festival that starts July 29th will be held at the Cheam Fishing Village in Agassiz.

The post blames TNRD for not processing the festival’s special events permit in time.

The festival is offering full refunds for anyone who purchased a ticket but can’t make the event at the new location.
