KAMLOOPS — Starting Sunday bus services will be reduced along some routes in Kamloops.

Drew Snider with BC Transit says the services aren’t as heavily utilized in the summer.

“In the summertime we find that there is a drop in demand on certain routes, especially that service schools and post-secondary institutions like Thompson Rivers University,” Snider said.

“In summertime we take certain trips off the road, we reduce the number of services, and we reinvest those in the fall.”
