KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have signed their second round pick from this year’s WHL Bantam Draft.

Connor Zary, who was selected 37th overall, will be attending Blazers training camp in August. The 14-year-old scored 44 goals and tallied 81 points in 30 games last season with the Bantam AA Saskatoon Outlaws.

“We are excited for Connor. He will be a great addition to our hockey club in the future,” says Director of Player Personnel Matt Recchi. “Connor is an elusive, skilled and smart player. We look forward to watching his progress over this upcoming season.

Prior to attending training camp in Kamloops, Zary will be taking part in the U-16 SaskFirst Summer Camp from August 1-5.
