KAMLOOPS — The superintendent of the Kamloops-Thompson School District says it may have been intended as a prank, but it was far more dangerous than that.

Someone on tore through the halls of Valleyview Secondary School on a motorbike this afternoon.

Karl deBruijn says several students and staff, including the school’s principal, were almost hit by the bike and could have been seriously injured.

“I just can’t consider this a prank, this is almost a wreckless disregard for the safety of others. I can’t understand a prank that would involve a motor vehicle, it is beyond anything I would consider to be a prank,” said deBruijn.
