KAMLOOPS —  According to a MoneySense ranking of the top Canadian cities to live in 2016, Kamloops sits right near the middle.

The city is ranked 117th out of 219 cities, tied with our neighbours, Kelowna.

Money Sense ranked the cities based on a number of factors including affordability, income, population growth, weather, and crime rates.

Kamloops’ weather, low taxes, and ease of getting around are cited as reasons for a good ranking.
