What does it mean to the Lions to have Buono back as coach?

KAMLOOPS — When Wally Buono stepped away from coaching the B.C. Lions after the 2011 season, he thought that was it for his coaching career.

But as Buono recently admitted once you’ve coached for as long as he’s coached, you never really stop coaching.

So after four seasons of downward spiraling for the Lions, Buono decided to return to the sidelines.

Under his curly white hair is a wealth of football knowledge that’s returned to a familiar presence on the field at the Lions Kamloops training camp.
