Some Kamloops sports fields closed due to weekend rain

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops has closed several of its sports fields in an effort to prevent damage brought on by the weekend rain.

According to the city, soccer fields at McArthur Island, Singh Street Park, and West Highlands Park will all be closed as of this afternoon.

A news release says city staff will inspect the parks tomorrow morning to determine if they can be reopened.
