One in custody following Westsyde domestic dispute

KAMLOOPS — Westsyde road was closed for a short time Saturday evening as RCMP dealt with a domestic violence incident. 

RCMP say they were called to the 1900 block of Westsyde road around 9:15 p.m. after reports of a domestic violence dispute involving a gun. 

Officers were able to deal with the situation safely, arresting a man and seizing a number of firearms. 

The man is being held in custody as he awaits his first court appearance. He faces a number of charges.
