KAMLOOPS —Sunday in Kamloops, the annual MS Walk is taking place at Riverside and Pioneer Parks. The event is an important fundraiser for Kamloops Chapter of Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

While there’s no cure for MS, the walk is a way for the MS Society to raise funds, as well was awareness about the disease. It’s estimated there are 100,00 Canadians living with MS, and that number is only expected to grow.

Katrina Harding, Fundraising Coordinator with the Kamloops Chapter of the MS Society says the funds raised at tomorrows event will play an important role on several fronts in the battle against the disease.
