BLIND BAY, B.C. — The BC Coroners Service has identified a young man who died in a crash in the Shuswap last week.

He was 19 year old Brody Lane Richard Southwell of Blind Bay.

According to RCMP, Southwell was in a vehicle that lost control on Blind Bay Road early Friday morning, hitting a culvert and rolling several times.

RCMP are still investigating, and at the time said speed and alcohol had not been ruled out as factors in the crash.
