KAMLOOPS — Two people have been arrested after allegedly stealing two vehicles, a jet ski and 150 pounds of gun powder.

A pick-up truck containing canisters of gun powder was stolen during the gun show at McArthur Island Park Saturday, and Sunday morning someone reported seeing a vehicle that contained covers for firearms.

Kamloops RCMP located the vehicle outside a home in Brocklehurst where another stolen vehicle and jet ski were located.

A 21-year-old man from Surrey and 33-year-old woman from Kamloops, both known to police, were arrested. Police have recommended charges of Possession of Stolen Property and Theft. The man will face a judge Monday.
