Wheelchair basketball bonds friendships

KAMLOOPS — Wheelchair basketball will be a big part of this summers Rio paralympics.

This weekend Kamloops is playing host to the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball National Championship at the Tournament Capital Centre.

For some of the players they’re not just teammates, but longtime friends, who have turned tragedy into triumph, that has strengthend the bond of friendship.
