KAMLOOPS — The BC Court of Appeal has dismissed a suit leveled against the City of Kamloops by a local construction company that was denied an opportunity to build the new fire hall in Aberdeen.

In 2010, the city launched a bid process to build the $3.6 million Fire Hall Number 7 on Aberdeen Drive.

True Construction bid on the job, but lost out, even though it was the lowest bidder, with the city saying True’s bid was incomplete.

The company disagreed and sued, but its suit was dismissed at trial.
