Vibe lose in shootout in SCFAHL final, go into Western Shield as host

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Vibe will go into the Western Shield women’s hockey championship as host team.

The Vibe lost 4-3 in a shootout to South Coast TNT in the final of the South Coast Female Amateur Hockey League.

South Coast will be the B.C. representatives in the Western Shield, to be played in Kamloops March 31 to April 3.

This Thursday night the Vibe will play Team Japan in an exhibition game at McArthur Island.
