KAMLOOPS — Students at Thompson Rivers University are hosting the third annual Mosaic Fashion Show tonight at the Grand Hall on campus.

Students from various programs and clubs worked to set up the runway for tonight’s fashion show this afternoon.

A number of stores throughout Kamloops will have their clothing on display for a total of 350 spectators.

The proceeds will cover the cost of the event and also go to three clubs on campus.

Coordinator Cassandra Okawa says “the funding will go to PCMA TRU, the Marketing club, and the Pan African club as we fundraiser for different conferences and charities.”

New this year will be a men’s fashion line by Relentless Fashion designed by former TRU students.

The joint initiative to organize the fashion show gives students hands on experience putting on a large scale event.

Co-coordinator Chantal Cadorette says, “ it’s the third annual fashion show. It’s been a success every single year. We’ve been bringing in people from outside of Kamloops as well who’ve been attending, so we always try to make the production as exciting as we can.”

Tickets can be purchased at the door tonight.

They are $10 if you’re a student an $15 for the public.

The pre show starts at 7 o’clock in the Grand Hall.
