It happened while the boy was celebrating his 14th birthday. The incident happened Monday afternoon just before 5:00 PM.

Police say an officer was approached by a frantic youth who said his friend had been robbed of his bike.

Police weren't able to locate any suspects when they converged on the skate park, but are looking for two indigenous males, one of whom is alleged to have used a silver handgun to commit the robbery.

Three of them left the group to approach the victim, and at that point, one of them is alleged to have pulled the gun, pointing it at the victim.
