Alcohol suspected factor in overnight accident

KAMLOOPS — A man was taken to hospital around midnight after a single vehicle accident on Parkcrest Drive in Brocklehurst.
Police say the man was driving west on Parkcrest, when the vehicle left the road and hit a pole.
The pole was sheared off in the mishap.
The man wasn’t seriously hurt. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Alcohol apparently a factor.
Hydro, Telus, ambulance, fire and police all attended the scene as repairs were made.
