Thousands attend Hockey Day luncheon

KAMLOOPS — Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada is in full swing in the tournament capital.

The second time it’s been in B.C. —- Nelson was the first in 2007.

It’s a four day family party that began last night with the “opening faceoff” at Sun Peaks.

Today school appearances and hockey clinics, and capping off the day the Western Hockey League 50th anniversary pro am alumni game tonight at the Sandman Centre.
