KAMLOOPS — An odd circumstance at Kamloops Airport this afternoon.

Air Canada Jazz is confirming one of its pilots couldn’t carry on after suffering a medical issue while in the cockpit.

The First Officer for flight 8426 from Kamloops to Calgary was sitting in the plane as it was parked on the tarmac at Kamloops Airport – when he passed out.

An Air Canada Jazz spokesperson says it happened before any of the passengers had begun boarding.
