Former Blazer JC Lipon to make NHL debut

KAMLOOPS — Former Blazer JC Lipon will make his NHL debut tonight.

Lipon has been called up by the Winnipeg Jets for tonights home game against the Colorado Avalanche.

One of the last players sent down after the Jets training camp, Winnipeg coach Paul Maurice says Lipon has earned his shot at the big leagues.

Lipons has 8 goals and 17 points in 30 games with the American League Manitoba Moose this season.
