Vehicle smashup at 1st and Battle Street

KAMLOOPS — A two vehicle collision sent one person to hospital earlier this afternoon.

Witnesses say the male driver of a black car attempted to cross 1st Avenue on Battle Street when he was struck by the cab which was traveling up 1st Avenue.

One occupant from inside the cab was transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
