WolfPack men's basketball drops exhibition game in Montana

BILLINGS, MONTANA - We had a lot of rust”.  That is how the coach of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men’s basketball team described his team’s effort in the first of two exhibition games they are playing in Billings, Montana.

On Tuesday (Dec 29), the WolfPack fell 79-55 to the University of Montana-Western Bulldogs (NAIA). TRU was down 39-20 at the half
“We need to shake that off tomorrow and before we return to league play,” said WolfPack head coach Scott Clark.

The ‘Pack were led by Luke Morris (3rd year, forward, Mission, BC) who had 20 points and seven rebounds.


The WolfPack will meet up with the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears (NAIA) tomorrow (Wed Dec 30).


TRU returns to league play in the Canada West explorer Division on Friday, January 8, 2016 when they visit the UBCO Heat in Kelowna. Their next home game on the Warner Rentals Court at the Tournament Capital Centre will be Friday, January 22nd when the Mount Royal University Cougars come to Kamloops.  Tip off will be 8 pm.
