KAMLOOPS — (News release provided by Kamloops RCMP)

Two robberies that occurred in Kamloops on the afternoon of December 26th are believed to have been committed by the same man.

At approximately 4:10 pm a male entered the Photo Studio of Walmart and demanded money.  He stated he had a gun, however none was produced.  The suspect then got into an early model white two-tone Dodge Ram pick-up 1500, three quarter ton extended cab that had rusted wheel wells and a steel dry box in the bed of the pick-up.

Approximately 10 minutes later, in the parking lot of Mark’s Work Wearhouse on Hillside Drive, a man pulled a gun on a female while she was sitting in her vehicle and demanded that she hand over her purse.  The descriptors of the suspect and vehicle in this robbery were the same as the Walmart robbery that occurred just a few minutes earlier.
