KAMLOOPS — Our Premier says we’ve had a pretty good year in B.C. and are poised for a strong economic performance in 2016.

In a year-end review, Christy Clark says we can expect financial benefits next year thanks to the strongest performing economy in Canada.

The Conference Board of Canada is predicting B.C. will lead the country in economic growth both this year and next. Clark says that’s going to be good for British Columbians.

On the other side, the Premier says she’s been humbled by a couple of difficult issues this past year. She says of particular concern were issues surrounding the protection of children in government care, and criticism about the practice of deleting potentially sensitive emails.
