Holiday Counterattack campaign launch

It’s the time of year for Christmas parties and fun leading into the holiday season – but it comes with a reminder to be responsible after a night out.

Kamloops MLA’s Todd Stone and Terry Lake, along with ICBC and Central Interior Traffic Services were getting the message out today about staying safe on the road and finding alternative ways home during the holiday season

The RCMP’s Counterattack campaign launched this weekend across the province, in the hopes of keeping drunk-drivers off the road.

Every year in the Southern Interior about 29 people are killed in crashes involving impaired drivers and there is often a spike around this time of year.
