A group of Grade 7 students at Aberdeen Elementary are getting ready for the trip of a lifetime down to Vancouver on Wednesday as part of ‘Me To We.’

The students in the class will be boarding a bus and leaving for Vancouver at 3 a.m. tomorrow morning to take part in the 2015 ‘Me To We’ event in Vancouver. There will be music from artists like Hedley and the Barenaked Ladies to inspirational speakers like Chris Hadfield and Spencer West, a legless Toronto man who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.

‘Me To We’ is a social enterprise founded by brothers Craig and Marc Kielburger, and it’s about working together to create sustainable change and improve people’s lives, in Canada and around the world. The kids from Aberdeen Elementary already have their own ideas for change, such as helping Syrian refugees and bring more attention to child labour around the world.
