Craig Bonner is out as the Vice-President and General Manager of the Kamloops Blazers, succeeded by a figure from the team’s storied past. The team issued a news release today stating Bonner has resigned to follow another hockey opportunity.

Effective immediately Stu MacGregor takes that position. MacGregor spent the past 17 years as an NHL scout, including as Head of Amateur Scouting with the Edmonton Oilers until earlier this year. He was GM of the Blazers from 1995 to ’98.

The Blazers had begun the year 0-6 for the first time in their history.
