SPCA out with a warning for horse owners

The SPCA is warning horse owners to ensure their animals have plenty of feed for the Winter. Special Constable Jamie Wiltse says this has been a down year for hay and that may lead to a shortage. Wiltse says now is a critical time for horse owners to stock up for the Winter. She says the SPCA deals with about a dozen cases of emaciated horses every year in the Kamloops area alone.
