Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has temporarily resigned as the chairman of Revolt, the music-oriented TV network he co-founded in 2013, in the wake of the three sexual assault lawsuits filed against him. A statement explains that: “While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps to ensure that Revolt remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this country and the African diaspora.” The trio of lawsuits accuse Diddy of sexual assault, physical assault, and various other crimes, going back to the early 90s. He settled the first one, filed by the singer Cassie, the day after she filed it — but maintains his innocence in that case and the two suits that followed it.
