RCMP looking to identify man suspected of stealing pickup from Valleyview street

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of stealing a pickup truck from a Valleyview address.
The Kamloops detachment was informed of the theft of a Dodge Ram on Sept. 17. The truck had been taken from Kelly Douglas Road.
“The next day, the truck was located behind a building on Glenwood Drive and surveillance video captured an image of a man observed driving it,” said Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn in a news release. “Police are releasing the image in the hopes that someone will identify him and help further the investigation.”
Evelyn says a man wearing brown overalls, a black t-shirt and sunglasses pulled up to the top of his head was spotted at about 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 17.
