The hair metal docuseries Nöthin’ But a Good Time is set to premiere on Paramount+ on September 17th. The official trailer for the documentary has also debuted, showcasing the hijinks that went down during the infamous ‘80s rock scene, along with insight from the biggest bands of that era. Nöthin’ But a Good Time: The Uncensored History of the ‘80s Hair Metal is based on the book by journalists Tom Beaujour and Richard Bienstock. The three-part series is directed by Jeff Tremaine (Jackass, The Dirt), and features interviews from Poison’s Bret Michaels, Ratt’s Stephen Pearcy, Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, Skid Row’s Dave “Snake” Sabo, and MTV host Riki Rachtman.

“I’m honored to be part of this docuseries, named after the hit Poison song ‘Nothin’ But a Good Time,’”said Michaels. “I’m excited for viewers to take a fresh look at the fans and bands, highs and lows, and to celebrate the music and good times of the ’80s and beyond. I hope the audience enjoys it as much as I did, and I can’t wait for them to have insight into some of those notoriously crazy moments!”
