James Corden Delays Start of Show

James Corden and his co-stars in a play called The Constituent delayed the start of the show at London’s Old Vic theater on Saturday so everyone could watch the end of the England football match. Corden, The actors realized the audience was just as eager as they were to see the penalty shootout that concluded the match, as indicated by the lit-up phones in the crowd. So rather than starting on time, the actors went on stage with an iPad and provided commentary on the shootout, which England ultimately won. The play eventually began 10 minutes later than scheduled, and Corden described it as “one of my favorite moments that I’ve ever had really.”
