Sabrina Carpenter’s First #1
Sabrina Carpenter just notched her very first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her runaway hit, “Please Please Please.” Carpenter’s chart-topping single debuted last week at No. 2, before making the leap to this week’s number one single in the country. Carpenter also holds the No. 4 hit on the current Hot 100 chart with “Espresso,” with both Top 5 singles included on the pop singer’s highly anticipated new album, Short n’ Sweet, which is due out on August 23.
Rounding out this week’s Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 are Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, which drops to No. 2 after spending its first five weeks at No. 1. Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” moves back up to its previous high chart position at No. 3, while Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” stays put at No. 5
