Kevin Costner finally confirmed that he won’t be returning for the final season of Yellowstone due to his commitment to his own new film Horizon: An American Saga. “It was something that really changed me. I loved it, and I know you loved it. I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be returning,” he said in an Instagram post. This announcement comes shortly after Yellowstone announced the November 10th premiere date for the second half of Season 5. Costner’s absence from the show was initially reported in May due to a contract dispute with the show’s creator, Taylor Sheridan, who is reportedly developing two spin-off series (including one with Matthew McConaughey). Costner’s new film, Horizon, which he has been working on for over two decades, is set to be released in theaters soon.
