David Copperfield Investigative Report

Magician David Copperfield is accused in a new investigative report by The Guardian of drugging women, groping them during performances, and engaging in inappropriate behavior with significantly younger women, including minors, spanning four decades from the 1980s to 2014 with allegations from 16 women. Some claimed they were under 18 at the time, with two stating they were 15 though no evidence suggests Copperfield knew their ages.

One accuser, identified as Carla, alleged that Copperfield groomed her for more than 2 years and engaged in inappropriate conduct before she turned 18. Copperfield’s lawyers denied all accusations, stating they are “false and entirely without foundation,” and asserting his innocence and appropriate conduct, particularly regarding Carla’s claims.
