Behind the Scenes Buzz with Tim Allen and Denzel Washington

Academy Awards producers are reminding people that this Sunday’s Oscars broadcast will be airing an hour earlier than usual, at 7 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. PT, coinciding with the first day of Daylight Savings.

Tim Allen will return to ABC with a new comedy pilot called Shifting Gears, about a widowed classic car shop owner whose world gets shaken up when his estranged daughter and her teen kids move in.

Netflix renewed Avatar: The Last Airbender for two more seasons. The live-action adaptation of the popular Nickelodeon series will end with Season 3, following the same structure as the animated version.

Jim Parsons will reprise his role as the adult Sheldon Cooper in the series finale of Young Sheldon. Mayim Bialik will also return as Amy Farrah Fowler, Sheldon’s future wife. The finale airs May 16 on CBS.

Lionsgate announced last year that it was developing a TV series based on the Twilight franchise, and this week, the studio confirmed that it will be an animated series, which is now being shopped around.
