SUZANNE SHEPHERD DIES AT 89: According to Entertainment Weekly, Goodfellas actor Suzanne Shepherd passed away on Friday (November 17th) at the age of 89. In addition to Goodfellas, Shepherd starred in movies such as Mystic Pizza, Requiem for a Dream, and Lolita. She also played Mary DeAngelis on 20 episodes of The Sopranos. Her Sopranos costar Ray Abruzzo paid tribute to her on Instagram Saturday (November 18th). “Sad to hear of the passing of Suzanne Shepherd. A force of nature. Actress, teacher. Played Carmella’s mother on Sopranos and Karen’s mother in Goodfellas,” he wrote.
MEGHAN MARKLE REACTS TO ‘SUITS’ STREAMING RECORDS: Meghan Markle is sharing her response to the popularity of Suits ever since it hit streaming earlier this year. When a Variety reporter informed her that the show had crossed more than 45 billion minutes streamed on Netflix and Peacock combined, the Duchess of Sussex said, “Isn’t that wild?” Markle plays paralegal Rachel Zane on the series. “It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time. I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit,” she said. “But it’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting.”

Deadline reports that the Kardashians star is set to star in and produce a film titled The 5th Wheel, a comedy written by Paula Pell and Janine Brito. This move comes following her role on the latest season of American Horror Story—and after she voiced two Paw Patrol movies.
TAYLOR ZAKHAR PEREZ RESPONDS TO JACOB ELORDI’S ‘THE KISSING BOOTH’ COMMENTS: Jacob Elordi’s The Kissing Booth costar, Taylor Zakhar Perez, does not share his perspective on the franchise. Elordi called the movies “ridiculous” in a recent interview with GQ. “I thought it was a shame because to my knowledge, everybody else had such a wonderful experience,” Perez told Variety, responding to Elordi’s comments. “It’s a shame that was his experience on the set. Especially when those movies came out, it was a time when we really needed something like that,” he added. “I know from our fan interactions, getting stopped everywhere I go, what ‘Kissing Booth’ means to people and what it brought them during such a dark time. I guess the silver lining is he still made people laugh and feel good.”
