Anti-vaping campaign launched by B.C. health ministry
VICTORIA — The B.C. Ministry of Health has launched a new anti-vaping initiative in schools across the province as part of the ‘A-Z of vaping’ campaign.
In a news release issued Monday (Nov. 6), the ministry informed the public of the distribution of new anti-vaping posters, signage and pamphlets to B.C. institutions on October 30, creating awareness on the risks of vaping and providing youth with resources to quit.
The initiative follows the launch of the ‘A-Z of vaping,’ an online and social media campaign launched in spring of 2023.
Minister of Health Adrian Dix emphasized the importance of providing youth with digestible and effective information.
