Katy Perry got dragged on Twitter Monday (July 4th) for sharing her frustration about the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade.

The singer wrote, “’Baby you’re a firework’ is a 10 but women in the US have fewer rights than an actual sparkler. Smh.”

Social media users pointed out that Perry supports Democrat Rick Caruso in the L.A. mayoral race – a former Republican who historically donated to pro-life GOP candidates.

One user wrote, in reply, “then you should stop supporting billionaires and doubtful candidates.”
