100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — Residents in 100 Mile House area are advised that the emergency department at 100 Mile District General Hospital will be closed for 24 hours.
Interior Health says the closure from 8 a.m. Friday (June 3) to 8 a.m. Saturday (June 4) is due to “unforeseen limited physician availability.”
Residents in the 100 Mile House area are asked to visit the emergency departments at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake or Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops during that time.
Residents are asked to call 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency, or HealthLink BC at 8-1-1 24/7 if they’re unsure if they need to seek emergency care.
