Ed Sheeran Royal Engagement

Ed Sheeran will lead the U.K. in a musical tribute to Queen Elizabeth. His home country will be celebrating the monarch’s record-breaking 70 years on the throne with a special four-day weekend event.

Through a press release, Sheeran said, “I’m proud to be part of the celebration and it’s going to be a great opportunity to bring everyone together.”

He’ll perform outside Buckingham Palace on June 5, in what’s being called The People’s Pageant.

Although it’s expected to be televised, there has been no official announcement yet.
