BTS Member Has Appendicitis and Covid

Jimin is the lastest member of BTS to test positive for Covid-19.

According to a statement posted by the group’s label, BigHit Music, the K-pop singer was admitted to the hospital on Sunday Jan. 30th with “sudden abdominal pain” and a “mild sore throat. He was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and tested positive for the coronavirus.

Doctors operated Monday (Jan. 31st) morning and he is “currently recuperating” and expected to make a “speedy recovery.” His label says, “He will be receiving a few days of inpatient treatment for COVID-19 in conjunction with post-operative care.”.
