Scream screams its way to the top!
After dominating the box office for a few weeks, Spider-Man: No Way Home took second place to the newly released Scream. The Omicron variant didn’t stand in the way of Scream’s success either, as the film pulled in $31.5 million during its opening weekend. This number is close to previous sequel openings, with Scream 2 making $32.9 million in 1997, and Scream 3 making $34.7 million in 2000.
