Doja Cat Won’t Work With Dr. Luke

Doja Cat told Rolling Stone that she no longer “feels the need” to collaborate with songwriter, producer, Dr. Luke. He co-wrote some of Doja’s biggest hits, including “Kiss Me More,” “Best Friend,” and her breakthrough hit “Say So.”

She even suggested that he didn’t write the songs. She said, “I’m like, ‘Hmm, I don’t know, I don’t know if you did anything on that. I don’t think I need to work with him in the future. I know that.”

Later, however, she followed up with Rolling Stone to say, said she had “no firsthand knowledge” of any songs that had been credited incorrectly.

She also said, “I think it was definitely nice of me to work with him.”

Years ago, Kesha accused Dr. Luke of drugging and raping her. He has denied the allegations and has since sued her for defamation.
