RITT MOMNEY RELEASES ‘SET THE TABLE VIDEO: Ritt Momney has released the official video for his latest song “Set the Table” featuring Claud. The visual, directed by Drew Tyndell, was created by animating over live action footage. In speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Ritt says: “It’s kind of about feeling like you’re disrupting a relationship or a family dynamic and you don’t know how to stop. I guess I pulled from feelings of being ‘the problem child’ when I was younger. And kind of now too.”

BTS TEASES ‘BUTTER: BTS released two teasers for their upcoming single, “Butter” on Monday.  One of the clips featured Jung Kook buttering toast while another featured RM launching a confetti cannon.  The English-language track will be released don May 21st.

‘SAVE YOUR TEARS’ IS NO. 1: The Weeknd and Ariana Grande’s “Save Your Tears” jumps from No. 6 to No. 1 for its first week atop the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.  The success of the remix gives both artists their sixth No. 1 on the Hot 100.  The track also gives The Weeknd the rare distinction of having three Hot 100 No. 1s in three separate years.  Grande also makes history, joining Paul McCartney as the only artists in history to have three #1 duets on the Hot 100.

THE WEEKEND WILL CONTINUE GRAMMY BOYCOTT: Despite The Grammys’ recent announcement that it was scrapping it’s controversial nomination review committees, The Weeknd revealed that he will still be boycotting the awards. Earlier this year, the singer revealed that he would no longer submit his music to the Grammys because his best selling album After Hours wasn’t nominated for a single award this year.  He said in a statement to The New York Times, “Even though I won’t be submitting my music, the Grammys’ recent admission of corruption will hopefully be a positive move for the future of this plagued award and give the artist community the respect it deserves with a transparent voting process.”
