DANIEL CRAIG FIRES BACK AT REPORTER’S SEXIST QUESTION: In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Daniel Craig was asked if Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who was brought on the writing staff of the new James Bond film, was a “diversity hire”. Craig furiously responded to the reporter, saying “Look we’re having a conversation about Phoebe’s gender here, which is f*****g ridiculous. She’s a great writer. Why shouldn’t we get Phoebe onto Bond?” Craig went on, praising Waller-Bridge’s talents and declaring her as “brilliant”.
DANNY TREJO ON STAYING SOBER FOR OVER 50 YEARS: In Variety’s recent recovery issue, Danny Trejo discusses his sobriety and success with staying clean. Trejo went from a 24 year old heroin addict, to a sober, prolific actor. Now 75, Trejo credits his continued success with his role of giving back, saying “Everything good that has happened to me has happened as a direct results of helping someone else.”
NINA DOBREV AND GRANT MELLON BREAK UP AFTER A YEAR LONG RELATIONSHIP: The Vampire Diarries star Nina Dobrev and screenwriting boyfriend Grant Mellon have called it quits. The split has been kept relatively quiet, but a source says Nina is “…quite happy, and has recently been out socializing with friends, each time without Grant.”
JOHN STAMOS TEASES SON IN RECENT EXTRA INTERVIEW: In a recent chat with Extra, John Stamos joked that his son Billy Christopher’s first words were “trust fund”.
