NIALL HORAN TO PERFORM AT MTV EMAS: Niall Horan will perform at the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards, which will air live from Seville, Spain, November 3rd. He’ll be singing “Nice to Meet Ya,” the first single from his forthcoming sophomore album. Previously announced performers include Halsey, Akon, Mabel and Ava Max; Becky G will host. The leading nominees are Ariana Grande, who has seven nods, and Lil Nax X, Shawn Mendes and Billie Eilish, who each have six. Fans can vote at mtvema.com until November 2nd.
MILEY CYRUS POSTS REVEALING SELFIES IN A SEE-THROUGH CROP TOP: Miley Cyrus posted a series of mirror selfies while wearing a revealing crop top on her Instagram on Tuesday. “I’m getting more basic by the day. The only thing the ‘new me’ loves more than a mirror selfie is a self timed one,” she captioned the post, which quickly garnered over 2 million likes in the first two hours of posting the pictures. Miley also shared a photo of herself playing guitar as she poses with the book Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza. The book explores how common people can transform themselves and their lives.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, KATY PERRY AMONG INVESTORS IN NEW VIRTUAL REALITY COMPANY: Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Katy’s fianc, Orlando Bloom, are among the big stars who’ve invested in a new virtual reality startup company. Sandbox VR, based in Hong Kong, has just raised $11 million in new funding thanks to Katy, Orlando, Justin and other big names like Will Smith and NBA star Kevin Durant. According Billboard, Sandbox uses motion-capture technology to create “immersive virtual reality experiences.”
